The latest extension in our acoustics laboratory resulted from an exchange with one of our customers in the railroad industry. In addition to the usual calibration, this customer also required the verification of sound level meters for the excess level as well as the maximum cycle level according to DIN 45657:2014 at DAkkS level.

Since October, SPEKTRA has been one of only three calibration laboratories that can offer this service in its well-known high quality and reliability.

DAkkS certificates can now also be issued for the calibration of the sound pressure level of measurement microphones, sound level calibrators and sound level meters at the reference point 250 Hz / 94 dB and 114 dB. These and all other accredited measurement quantities can be found in our current certificate.

Now possible: Initial calibration for sound level meters and calibrators

Good news for manufacturers of sound level meters and sound level calibrators! After an intensive preparation period, we are pleased to have received recognition as an accredited certification laboratory. This means that customers can order the initial verification and issuance of the certificate of conformity from us. This procedure is required by law prior to placing the product on the German market.

It is our goal to make this process as simple and efficient as possible for our customers. In doing so, we aim for a maximum turnaround time of 14 days.
